How a Matterport tour is made
We scan the space with a Matterport Pro camera, which captures a 360° image and depth data at each position. Every four to six square metres we take another scan; a 3+kk apartment needs roughly 30 to 50 positions and takes about one hour. The scans are uploaded to Matterport’s cloud, which stitches them into a 3D model within a few hours. You receive a link and an embed code for your website, listing or booking page, plus a floor plan if required.
