Studio or on location?
Both work. A neutral studio background is the safest choice for LinkedIn and press kits and looks consistent across a whole team. An environmental portrait in your office, at a window or in front of the Prague skyline adds personality and works well for websites and “about us” pages. For teams we usually shoot both in one session: a consistent headshot for everyone plus a few environmental portraits for the leadership.
What to wear
- Solid colours photograph better than fine patterns, which can shimmer on screen.
- Mid-tones such as navy, charcoal, burgundy or forest green flatter most skin tones; avoid bright white or neon.
- Bring a second option, for example a jacket and a more relaxed shirt or blouse.
- Iron everything; wrinkles are visible at full resolution.
- Keep jewellery simple and avoid transition lenses that darken under studio light.
Grooming and preparation
- Get a haircut about a week before, not the day before.
- Bring powder or blotting paper; shine on the forehead is the most common retouching request.
- Sleep well and drink water the day before; it shows in the eyes.
- If you wear make-up, keep it natural and slightly matte.
How to pose
You do not need to know how to pose; that is our job. During the session we guide you through small changes: chin slightly forward, shoulders angled, weight on the back foot, and a genuine expression rather than a fixed smile. Most people have a stronger side; we find it in the first minutes. Each person needs about 10 to 15 minutes, so a team of twenty is done in half a day without disrupting the office.
How to use the photos
- LinkedIn: a square crop, head and shoulders, face filling about 60 percent of the frame.
- Company website: a consistent crop and background for the whole team page.
- Press kit and conferences: high-resolution files in colour and black and white.
- E-mail signature: a small, well-lit version reads better than a logo.

Is retouching included?
Yes. Natural retouching of skin, stray hairs and clothing wrinkles is included. We do not change facial features.

Yes. The mobile studio fits in any meeting room; we regularly photograph visiting executives at their hotel in Prague.
